data.parliament.uk beta

Our Second Demonstrator is now on GitHub

Have you ever wondered what your MP asked HM Treasury last Wednesday? Did you go to bed not knowing how she/he casted vote last evening? Then fear no more! All that knowledge is available via modest medium of MPExplorer brought to you by the DDP team. Head straight to github (https://github.com/UKParliData/MPExplorer) and check our source. Just a few simple Ajax calls and you can have all the details at your beck and call. This demonstrator is primarily aimed at the developer community to showcase the data available on data.Parliament and the RESTFUL end points we have exposed. As ever we welcome feedback. You can see it in action here

Data can be retrieved by subjects (voting, questions), filtered by date, MP or text and returned selectively (just date and title fields for example). JSON, CSV, XML or simple HTML – anything your heart (and application) desires.

Have fun!
